What should I do if I miss a connecting train during my railtour?
Our rail tours are all designed around itineraries with reliable connections, based on years of experience and feedback. If you do still miss a connection, don't panic! Our rail tours are always booked with flexible tickets that allow you to take the next train if this is necessary.
- First of all, if you miss a connection: don't panic. Trains in Europe run very frequently. You can find the next suitable connection using a travel planning app/website, or simply by asking the onboard train staff or station staff.
- Please also check your travel documents for tips for options for other connections. Sometimes we'll have written down for you what other connections there are.
- In case that you missed a connection with reserved seats, please ask onboard or station staff for a new seat reservation.

Paying for a new reservation for a missed connection will usually not be necessary, especially if you missed the connection due to a delay of another train. If due to delay of another train you need a new reservation but are still asked to pay, please do so, and contact us about a potential refund. Please note that if you miss a connection due to neglience or tardiness and need to buy a new reservation, a refund might not be possible.
