What is the difference between Eurail and Interrail passes?

Eurail Pass:

  • For Non-European Residents: Eurail passes are designed for travelers who are not residents of European countries.

Interrail Pass:

  • For European Residents: Interrail passes are exclusively for residents of European countries. They are designed to encourage European residents to explore their own continent.

Price and Duration: there is no longer a price difference between Eurail and Interrail passes, and the durations of these passes are also the same. This makes it easier to select the pass that aligns with your travel plans, regardless of where you live.

Eligibility Clarification: If you reside in Europe for longer than six months but are not a European resident, you can still purchase an Interrail Pass.
