What is included in rail tour packages?

You can see exactly what is and is not included for every Rail Tour in the "What's included" tab for your specific Rail Tour.

Always included:

All train tickets and reservations from the starting point of your choice
All hotel overnight stays, in the room type of your choice
Breakfast at every overnight stay
A full itinerary with a detailed description for each day, walking routes + maps to hotels and stations, and tips for activites on free days
If applicable for your rail tour, ferry/boat tickets, bus tickets are also included.

Sometimes included

In some Rail Tours, mainly in Switzerland, meals on scenic trains are included as standard. See the specific Rail Tour you are intrested in for more information.
In some rail tours, some bus or train tickets that can only be bought locally are not included. If any additional costs are necessary, these are listed under the "What's included" tab for the specific Rail Tour.
Optional extra's like certain day trips and extra meals on certain trains/ferries are not included as standard but can be additionally selected. You can see which are available in the "Extensions" tab.
