Seat reservations are mandatory on some long-distance trains in Portugal. Seats can be booked 60 days in advance. On this page we will show Portugal's different train types and their seat reservations.
- Eurail passes as bought via Happyrail are valid on all trains in Portugal, as well as local international services from Spain.
- Reservations for Portugese trains can only be made at train stations in Portugal. There are as of 2025 no online possibilities to make reservations.
