Validity of Eurail pass in Switzerland

• The Eurail pass as bought via Happyrail is valid on many national and regional railways. On most railways the Eurail pass is valid for free travel, on other railways it only gives a 25% or 50% discount.
• This is is not exhaustive but gives an overview of the most scenic and important railways. A full list can be found on this page.
• On all boat/steamer sevices a 50% discount is given, and on many cableways a 25% or 50% discount is given.
• If you are looking to travel on many of the railways where only a discount is given, or on many boat/steamer or cableway trips, a Swiss Pass might be a better option for you.
