Seat reservations for trains in Finland can not be booked online. Making reservations can be done in two ways:
- At the train station itself: a surcharge of €1 on top of the reservation costs will be added.
- Via the call center of Finnish Railways (VR) call center: can be ordered by phone. They are then collected at a train station in Finland before travelling. The VR call center can be found here.
- Costs for seat reservations are dependent on distance: they cost a fixed percentage of a normal ticket. A reservation for a longer journey will thus cost more.
Eurail seat reservation fees are subject to changes. We make every effort to keep the rates shown as accurate as possible.
