- Please note: It is only possible to order reservations if you also book the Eurail Pass through us (not necessarily simultaneously).
Reservations & Supplements:
1. Regional Trains: Reservation not required.
- In no country do you need to reserve seats on regional trains.
2. Reservation required, widely available.
TIP: Book your reservation for the next travel day directly at the station upon arrival.
- Austria: Book through our European train planner (select "Reservations").
- Spain: At the station ticket counter or by calling Renfe at +34 91 232 03 20.
- Italy: At the station ticket counter or via the Interrail app.
- Portugal: At the station ticket counter.
- Poland: At the station ticket counter or via PolRail.
- Romania: At the station ticket counter or by calling CRF.
- Bulgaria: At the station ticket counter.
- Turkey/Istanbul: At the station ticket counter or by calling CRF.
3. Reservation optional.
- Germany: Not mandatory but strongly recommended. Book through our international train planner (select "Reservations").
- UK: Not mandatory, recommended for busy routes, at the station ticket counter, widely available.
- Switzerland: Not mandatory except for panoramic trains like the Glacier Express and Bernina Express, book through RHB.
4. Reservation required, very limited availability.
- Eurostar Paris: Coming soon online through us, currently via b-Europe (very limited availability).
- Eurostar London: Coming soon online through us, currently via b-Europe (very limited availability).
- TGV France / Barcelona: By phone through SNCF or in the Interrail App (very limited availability).
- Norway: By phone at +47 61 27 90 88 or at the station ticket counter.
- Sweden: Through SJ (select "Interrail Pass" for discount). Stockholm-Narvik night train is very limited. Inlandsbanan, a private railway, book via Inlandsbanan.
5. Night Trains: Reservation required.
- Netherlands-Austria/Switzerland: Amsterdam-Munich/Innsbruck/Vienna/Zurich. Book through our international train planner (select "Reservations").
- Munich-Rome/Florence/Venice/Zagreb, Prague-Zurich, Vienna-Bucharest/Split/Rome/Zurich. Book through our international train planner (select "Reservations").
- Romanian night trains: By phone through CRF (national railways) or at the ticket counter.
- French night trains: By phone through SNCF or in the Interrail app.
- Italian night trains: At the station ticket counter or in the Interrail app.
- Swedish night trains: Through SJ (select "Interrail Pass" for discount). Snalltaget, a private night train, book via Snalltaget.
