For delays of 60 minutes or more, you can try to request compensation from many rail operators. Check your ticket which operator it's from to request compensation from the correct carrier.
Deutsche Bahn (Germany)

Eurostar (United Kingdom)

Eurail / Interrail reservations (Europe)
For Eurail / Interrail reservations, the compensation is (if possible) a maximum of 25% of the value of your Interrail pass. You can apply for compensation via

Italo (Italy)

NS (Netherlands)
For compensation for train journeys within the Netherlands, please contact us using the contact form. Please mention in the mail the order number of your booking with us and which ticket(s) you wish to cancel.

OUIGO (France)
OUIGO has special compensation measures: they only pay out in vouchers up to 50% of the ticket price. This is done automatically within 15 working days after the journey has taken place.

SBB (Switzerland)

TGV INOUI (France)
Compensation can be claimed from a delay of 30 minutes (caused by TGV itself). Please fill in

Thalys (France)
Please fill in the form on the website. Thalys will then contact you as quickly as possible. Please note: Thalys mainly compensates with vouchers. If you prefer to receive money, they will refund a maximum of 50% of the ticket amount to you.
Trenitalia (Italy)
Compensation can be requested from 30 minutes of delay for Frecce trains and from 60 minutes for other trains. Please fill in
