Is bedding provided in sleeper trains?
If you're traveling by overnight train in a sleeper car or couchette car, bedding is generally always included.
- In sleeper cars, as included as standard on overnight trains in Rail Tours. Some basic toiletries and towels are usually included. A light breakfast is typically included, on most services the attendant for your sleeping car will come and take your order the evening before.
- In Couchette cars, which have harder beds, bedding is also provided. The breakfast is typically simpler than in Sleeper cars, but also brought to your cabin by the attendant/steward.
- In case your compartment has no bedding (yet), please ask the attendant of your sleeping car. There is typically one attendant/steward per car who will show you to your compartment.
